Re: Butterfly Effect
I’ve decided to scrap our entry altogether and start with a new unique and original AU premise where Athena is evil!!! Also she’s the canonical villain of every AA case ever. And she eats babies. This is going to be so grimdark, it’s going to make 2014 AAO look like Candyland. Congratulations! You ...

Re: Butterfly Effect
I was gonna say you should make a Holy Turnabout Batman spinoff or something. No joke, at one point I actually developed an HTB! spinoff - "The Green Mile Incident." I don't recall why (I think it was for a comp, but I don't remember which one), and I don't even remember 90% of the plot p...

Re: Butterfly Effect
I'm going to refrain from committing to anything at least until the public release of the actual APET is complete. So "no", for now.Awsome2464 wrote: And clcman, is that an official opt-in?

Re: Butterfly Effect
Ah, that feeling when your entry (or "entry" in this case) for the last competition fits the next competition's theme better than the previous one's. No joke, risefromtheashes and I have been planning a possible case for a while and hoping for a good comp theme to use it in, and then we bo...

Re: Looking Back (Awards Ceremony is out!)
Well, I can safely say that that was the longest, gayest and crassest awards ceremony in AAO history. A little historically revisionist at times ( I INVENTED THAT DARN GOLDEN PAINTBRUSH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! ), but the convoluted nonsense at the end was sufficiently convoluted, even for me. Congratu...

Re: Looking Back
It is, in fact, shorter than my entry, and will remain that way.
But that's what happens when you spend nine years working on a case.

Re: Looking Back
Guy: "Hey? What's that coming out of left field?" Gal: "Is that... clcman with a jetpack?" * crash * clcman: "YOU'RE DARN RIGHT IT IS!" Guy: "What are you doing here?" clcman: "Freed from the tyranny of deadlines, I have spent the judging period hammering...

Re: Looking Back
At this point, the only thing longer than the awards ceremony will be this hype thread for the awards ceremony!

Re: Looking Back
I feel like this will drive you to further framage for the sake of a record, but N.O.T. Endgame clocks in at 1474 frames.

We in the peanut gallery seem to have had an excellent instinct for what these cases are without ever playing them this time around.risefromtheashes wrote: It's honestly impressive just how well this summed up the case.
