Re: [T] The Judge's Cup - Round 1 Completed ●○○○○
Dunno if this is your guy's fault, but I keep having an issue where if you click through too fast, the sprites stop working. As in all of them. I think it has something to do with all the soft sweeping you have happening in the scene, rather than just hard cutting back and forth between the charact...

Re: [T][CE]Turnabout in the Two Towers●
This is kind of a weird necro, but it's a legit shame more people didn't talk about this at the time of release. It has a unique setting and I really enjoyed the crime. If you haven't, you should definitely give this a try.

Re: [T] The Judge's Cup - Round 1 Completed ●○○○○
(This half-reminds me of a really really old series The Omniscient Game where Phoenix and Maya got dragged to the courtroom to compete in a trivia gameshow ran by the judge.) Anyhow, I played it, here's my thoughts: No prologue? Aw. Probably could've come up with at least a lil' sumthin for the intr...

Re: Setting the Stage
Well, since almost everyone has at this point shown something, here's a totally legit and earth-shattering screen of my thing:

Re: [T] The Judge's Cup - Round 1 Completed ●○○○○
(I think you might not have set the trial for Round One to "Complete", so nobody can play it yet.)

Re: Setting the Stage
I'm almost the third of the way in now. I thought that having a script written out would dramatically improve my speed, but it seems not. Ah, well. Could just, again, be the fact it's been a while since I've used the editor. For the record, I'm trying to keep my entry as short as humanly possible. D...

Re: Setting the Stage
One of the entrants asked me about giving tips to new authors. I figured since there's quite a few people in the comp who are newcomers, I should share it with everyone. So here's a general overview of the process and some things to keep in mind, going from planning to actual framing. It's by no mea...

See you were all so worried about me that you didn't notice this man coming at you with a Big One.AceJakkidFan wrote:(3k frames innnn)
This has all also made me realize just how scary, in retrospect, the 8-10k trial entries must've been to newcomers a few years back.

Re: Setting the Stage
Alright, started to actually frame this stuff in. I forgot how tedious the process could be. I'm definitely not as efficient at this like before. Still, it's definitely still good to run it and see things play out like envisioned. And while the crack isn't giving me speed, it's definitely in the sto...

Completing an entry is a win, though. A huge one, at that.trialdude wrote:At this point I'll consider completing my entry to be a win.

Mkay, well, I've got most of the script done, so I'd say I'm in.

Re: Competition Rules Changes Discussion
I like the idea of the veteran/newcomer system. But the thing about Gamer's addition to it is that I feel like before going with the "competition winners" tab, the Featured Trials section itself should be cleaned up a bit, so as to not have all the links of every part listed. Once that's t...
