Re: Competition Rules Changes Discussion
(That said, this may not necessarily work depending if a lot of the entrants aren't comfortable making public releases after the fact, or if the winners turn out to be pretty incomplete.) The prize for winning competitions is being able to get that semi-featured status if you finish your work. Perh...

It's like making a case where Phoenix defends Maya, only it has to happen in canon yet. Good luck to everyone! ...

Re: Competition Rules Changes Discussion
Encourage group projects I think group projects are already allowed. Have a "newcomer" and "veteran" tier system for the results Not a bad idea, but co-hosting seems too much. Not to mention, big league winner may not end up liking that... Hm. How about a semi-feature for compet...

Re: Competition Rules Changes Discussion
Someone mentioned R E M in this thread so I'm obligated to post I guess. If I knew that mentioning it would bring you back I'd do it more often. Is it the purpose of these competitions to facilitate the creation of NEW cases or to facilitate the creation of COMPLETE cases? What's more important in ...

Re: Competition Rules Changes Discussion
If the purpose of the comps is to energize us to post more, then two months are the solution. But if we want to drive in more users through comps, then admins need to post on the main site news about the comps starting and ending.

Re: Competition Rules Changes Discussion
@DWaM If the problem are dead competition threads, two months are the solution. The question is - are lively competition threads that valuable? Evo' comp was the only post 2013 comp that had more than a half of my comp's replies. In the terms of engagement, me and enigma beat everyone to a pulp. But...

Re: Competition Rules Changes Discussion
Proposal 1: Shortening Competition Deadlines Making cases is time-consuming and during three months people may find time only to make short demos or even shorter previews. Or, a first part of more ambitious projects, like REM or the original Turnabout Curtain. Neither of those two did end up being ...

Re: [T] Turnabout in Plain Sight ●
DWaM, regarding your last point. I was the one who pointed the issue with Klavier telling Violet about the sugar. In the original Edgeworth just asked how she knew that the bottle also contained sugar, and Klavier openly handwaved it by telling that he simply shared to the witness details about the ...

Re: Setting the Stage
They reset whenever you enter the editor (or save the changes in editor), but you can have prepared frames for presets and quickly save them as presets for the current use.

Re: Setting the Stage
I find selecting sfx and music takes a couple of tries before it registers. The trick is to click on the textbox after selecting sfx. (Also getting into the habit of hiding the last character when you switch to another character talking). The trick is to prepare a frame preset for every character, ...

Re: [T][SoJ] Turnabout Trickery ★
Ten years and one day. I wasn't openly active until 2013, and when I joined I only messed a bit in the editor and didn't touch it again for like 4 years (lack of available original assets discouraged me). I've released three complete cases, released one unfinished one, and also made lot of unrelease...

Re: [T] Turnabout in Plain Sight ●
Congrats for releasing it! Due to the lack of time I only looked in the editor the section that I had the biggest issues with, I liked how you resolved them. I really liked the new trial's ending. You created an actually pretty sensible villain that walked to the court knowing she already had get ou...
