None of that is viable. Changing how the expression engine parses things could break too many old cases. Documentation is the better solution.

A Chinese translation if AAO is not planned. I'm not opposed, but I don't know Chinese and can't translate anything accurately.

Go the manager and click edit trial. That should take you to a page with buttons like "Open in editor" and "Delete trial." At the bottom are "Automatic backups." Open them in editor, find the version you want, and save that.
