It would be nice if we could just upload files directly, instead of having to do a bunch of crazy stuff to get the right link.

That one is not likely to happen. If we could upload files, that puts extra strain on the server.

Could you tell me what kind of "crazy stuff" you have to do? I haven't had a problem with this.
