Here are a few explanation as to how it works :
- Each trial has up to 10 backup slots. The backups you'll store there will be "safe" : no script will try modifying them.
- The backup management interface is located at the bottom of the "Save" tab in the editor.
- Each backup is identified by the date and time it was created (server time, so don't worry if the indicated hour doesn't correspond to where you are). Clicking on this date in the backup list will load the corresponding backup in the editor. Once the backup is loaded, everything works as in a normal trial : when you go to the save tab and click "Save", it will change the trial's current state to this backup.
- 5 slots are reserved for the automatic backups system. Each time you save a trial, the editor will make a backup of the previous state so that you be able to restore it if anything went wrong.
(Notice : There is a 5min delay between auto-backups. If you save your trial less than 5 minutes after last backup, a new backup will not be created). - The other 5 slots are available for the user to manually save important backups, that won't be overwritten by new saves. To create a manual backup, you just have to click the "Save this backup" link after any temporary backup, or after "Current State".
In order to free a slot and save new manual backups, it's possible to delete one by clicking the "Delete this backup" link next to the backup's date.
Besides, two minor updates have been done at the same time :
- You are now able to use external mp3 tracks in your trial by clicking the "External music" button under the list of available tracks.
- Sounds in the editor are now also played by the flash player. When clicking on the link in a "Sound" cell, the "Soundtrack" tab will be opened and the sound/music will start playing in the flash player.
Hope these updates will help making the site better
