The revamped forums
As you may have noticed, the forums have been altered. As you can see, all of the mods are now green, because we're so brilliant , so now it should be a lot easier to notice the presence of mods. Trial reviewers are also now blue! Another change is that we now have a new games forum inside General Chatting, because it was getting cluttered with more games than actual discussions! The revamped forums
One of the main changes is that the case competitions are back, but they are now known as Trial Competitions (because you all know how much I love terminology). I'm going to be overseeing them from now on, but the winner of each competition will host the next one. We're starting off with a small and simple competition called "A Comedic Case", where entrants will need to make a short and very hilarious trial. Why don't you check it out and see if you feel like having ago? We've all ready got many people entering, and some have already finished their entries! You can sign up at any time up until the deadline!
The rules have also been changed. The old rules were made when the forums were very small; they were made to regulate people's trials, rather than the forums. Now we have two sets of rules: one for trials and one for the forums. Make sure you read them! They've been made so that they're a lot clearer, using the words "must", "should" and "may" to signify how important the rule is (it's also a little joke that web developers might get). If you have any problems with the new rules, make sure your voice is heard in the Comments and Ideas forum!
And the last change worth mentioning is that I now seem to be dominating the entire English section, moderating almost all forums here. But most importantly, I now moderate the Announcement forum, where I will be posting news articles like this one on a semi-regular basis! Make sure you check the announcements forum more often!
The last bit of news is that trial reviewer Okappa has changed his name to Hodou Masaka, which is a name that he uses in all other forums that he goes to.
A big thank you goes to Unas for making all of these changes possible!
Trial news
Firstly, Blackrune has finished the final part of The Virtual Turnabout, which is now pending a view to become a featured trial! If you haven't played it yet, make sure you do!
The last trial I'm going to mention is E.D.Revolution's Mia Fey: Ace Spirit Attorney, which is also under review to become featured.
