Version 6 and the Triple A
The Ace Attorney Online web apps have been on quite a large journey, and have become massively different from what they used to be. We're now at version 5, which simulates the real AA games quite well. But now, Unas has started working on version 6, which is going to be one of the biggest releases we've ever had, because it's going to be a complete rewrite. If you've made a suggestion in the Comments and Ideas forum, don't expect your suggestion to appear in version 5. This doesn't mean that you can't make suggestions, however. Feel free to post your ideas. If you've found a bug, you should report it as usual, because Unas might be able to fix it in version 5.

Don't worry, though, if you're thinking that your current trials won't upgrade to the new version; they will! The reason why Unas is rewriting it is because the apps have become very bulky, and are using very old and "hacky" technologies. The new web apps are going have greatly improved performance and will allow for many new features that we can't do with the current system. The new Trial Player will be using either HTML5 Canvas or Adobe Flash.

In other news, it has been decided that we will be having an awards event every December: the AAO Annual Awards, abbreviated as the Triple A (working title). We're going to be giving awards (not real ones, sadly), to authors that have made some of the greatest trials in AAO (as well as other reasons). At the moment, I'm still deciding what awards we should have, and you can help! Visit the topic in the Your Trials forum.

Trial news
OrangeLightning, a new member, has posted about his first trial called Turnabout Heartbreak. Give him lots of feedback and support when he releases it.

Cheeseye has created a rather unique series called Ace Assassin. This should be interesting.... Give it a go, if you haven't already!
