[T] The Perfect Turnabout ★

Post by FrozenPhoenix »

This trial is continuing from Turnabout Office, taking place about four weeks later.

It is, for the most part, non-canon and features a custom soundtrack (excluding canon character's themes.)

Preview: Phoenix, Maya, and Pearl have some free time and decide to buy tickets to the concert hottest band around. However, when the drummer is brutally murdered, Phoenix Wright must defend the accused, another band member, and clear his good name. Yet, everything is not as it seems when he discovers something more sinister may be afoot besides a mere band skirmish.

I can tell that you are not using the new physchelock system, at least not properly, but I don't think there was any major issue there.
I like the writing, even if I have to agree with Phoenix on how she heard the nickname. Anyway, it's looking very good. And once this is done, I expect this to be a features trial, it just feels great.

To be honest, the new Psyche-Lock System confused me when I first tried it.

Still, it looks much better than the what I did, so I'll try to change it today.

UPDATE: The trial now uses the trial maker's Psyche-Lock System.

RAWR!
I'm stuck on the very first Psyche-Lock!
O.o
Spoiler : :
I obtained all the evidence, and it sent me there, AND NOTHING!
Other than that pain in the butt problem, I'd give this 5 of 5 stars.
It's excellent in every way. (Other than the problem I have. XD)

That is quite the soundtrack. But you seem to be a little shy with the sound effects, the line "I forgot" just begs for a sound effect.
Also, if the sai was found in the car, how could the body be found still on the wall? 28 is plausible to hold it, but two, on the floor?
You might want to hide the subject "Murder" until after we have heard the subject "Darius Harris".
When pearl says that Seagull is band, you forgot the word "a".
The locks have no windback sound when completing the lock.

Another contradiction... It seems I'm bad at filling the plot holes in my own cases. :(
I'll fix those right away.

As for the Psyche-Lock one, isn't it impossible since the locks only disappear once there are no more messages left in the Psyche-Lock tab?

I don't see why a sound effect can't be still be running while that happens.

I am just going to do one final spell check.
  • "kid's", doesn't that mean "belongs to the kid"? I am a bit unsure on that rule.
  • Darious says that he wasn't on the scene until after the body was found, but then he says what I understand as that he was the first one to find the body, resulting in him getting accused in the first place.
  • Why can't I go into the dressing rooms until I have spotted the sai?
  • "who is the prosecutor this time" -> "who the prosecutor is this time"
  • Nice dodge of the contradiction there. Also, Maya got the number wrong, she said 23, not 28.

No, you're right on all of them.

And Phoenix and Maya are there to investigate the murder scene first, then decide to go look for clues elsewhere. (It's just an excuse to make you pick them up.)
