I was hoping that people wouldn't have needed to see the film to get the jokes. It's a great film, though. :)

Well, I've never seen the film either, but it made me laugh anyway ^^
I did read the book several years ago, but the only thing I remember is that it was painfully slow :-D

Just be happy with your consolation prize that you were accepted by the society. Isn't that what's more important at the end of it all? :XD:

I think I need to apologise to Mimi for giving her the "overly attractive girl" role, again. :XD:

I guess, but it just seems a bit sexist. :XD:

It's sexist to call a woman attractive?

I'll never understand these feminists. :P

You could have avoided the political references (all the more since I actually support Sarkozy :-P), but I really enjoyed it anyway.
The way you made the songs was excellent :-)

However, I do find the ending very disappointing. How come I don't end with Mimi ? Tap, I'll get you for this ! :calisto:
Naaaaah, political satire = win (good job, Meph)! ...yeeeeees, it's me saying it but really! Though at least Sarkozy is better than Berlusconi... :awesome:

But hey! This has some new AAO pairings~! I totally need to write that AAO pairing fic!

Thanks. :)

Maybe I should have given Mimi a song. "God Help the Outcasts" is the only song that she sings, but it's about the city's prejudice against Gypsies. I was trying to simplify the story so that it mainly focused on Mimi and the competition between the three men in their love for her. I wasn't focusing on that other side of the story, so I didn't want to include that song. I wanted to include "The Court of Miracles", because it was a fun song, but I couldn't use it for the same reason.

I included "Hellfire" because it's an awesome song and sums up Frollo/Sarkozy's love for Esmaralda/Mimi. Sadly, Phebus/Tap doesn't have a song. :P

"Out There" would have been a good song to include, but I didn't want to have another song right after the first one.

By the way, 50 bucks says you do a take on Beauty and the Beast next year, since that's another Disney film that takes place in France.
