Then I would have to write a mini map class. Luckily, that's a rather trivial task.

A minimap class... What's that? xD You mean the map on the walk button?
No need for it, just put a different background, like the AAI pink color.
You could divide the move button in 9 sections (The middle section being smaller.)
Each section for a direction.
And then set a radius from the center to define the walk/run state.

Kinda like this:

Image

Image

1 - Run NW
2 - Walk NW
3 - Run N
4 - Walk N
5 - Run NE
6 - Walk NE
7 - Run W
8 - Walk W
9 - Walk E
10 - Run E
11 - Run SW
12 - Walk SW
13 - Run S
14 - Walk S
15 - Run SE
15 - Walk SE

S - Stop (No movement)

^That looks pretty neat!

But if that's the case though, can we have alternative controls for walking/moving?

Just ignore the word class and focus on the minimap part.

I have decided to focus on Character importing for a while. I am looking for someone to help me out with the sprite separation.

I got some spriters on board last week and we are working hard on the character animation importing. But I could use some animators to lighten my workload. If you want to see how I am doing in detail I can add you to the project as a watcher.

Oh! That's good news. Glad to see you found some spriters to help out! I don't know anything about Flash but if I did, I would've helped you!

That would be awesome! I'd love to see what you've got so far. Maybe I might even be able to help out in some way... :)

For anyone interested in the project, please send me a pm and we can talk details. But as I host the project on Assembla it might help to have an account there.

Since this project is now definitely unrelated to AAO, I'll move it to General chat.

Moved.

I am looking for some help with some light coding.

The task is rather simple to be honest, just a few lines of copypaste code here and there.

I am looking for someone to hook up all the GUI sounds.

Progress have been steady lately and I am now looking for a webdesigner to write a promotional website for the project.

I thought that I had one, but I never got any results back and I haven't heard from him for weeks.

Hey Henke, I'm interested in setting up a Wordpress site (if you don't care about the fact it'll look like a blog)

But I need to look for an interested server host (I have the perfect person in mind) and I still need to know how to develop child-themes and such, also, my first project with a website still hasn't finished, so I'd have to get back to you on that.
