I bet you were also going to pander to the judges by making Klavier the victimBlackrune wrote:My original intention was to do a fake (April Fool~) entry.
Now I would feel guilty for getting your hopes up...

Nah, Joe Darke would have been the victim. xD
It was supposed to begin in a believable way. Intriguing crime and stuff... Then, after the first cross-examination, Gant was supposed to come in, stare for like 10 seconds and go into clapping mode to tell you "APRIIIIL FOOOOOOLS!!"...

Re: Turnabout Twist!
You... could put it that way, yes. xD
Totally would have done it with 3 or more confirmed entries.
But considering the current situation, this competition doesn't deserve getting trolled.

I'm not gonna say it at the last moment so, here comes my unexpected twist:
Ran out of linking ideas and motivation D: So I'm dropping out after 500 frames D: Sorry

Re: Turnabout Twist!
500 frames is better than nothing. If it's 500 great frames, even if ends abruptly it might have a shot, you'd be surprised I personally prefer incomplete entries to non-entries, I don't know about BP... But I encourage all those who have done something, as opposed to nothing, to submit what they've done.
In another note, despite the (unsurprising given all the circumstances) number of people dropping out, this is officially the second biggest competition in terms of page count!

Yeah, I'm gonna agree with Frenchy. Just give us what you got! Worst that happens is you won't win--and if you don't enter, that's going to happen anyway.Ping' wrote:500 frames is better than nothing. In that case, I may have a chance after all... I'm nearing 2000 frames.Ping' wrote:500 frames is better than nothing. Thanks for the kind words everyone!!
And to the other participants... IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER!
I have faith in all of you. I want to see what twists you came up with.

Re: Turnabout Twist!
You can showcase it, but for the record, it's not April 1 in Massachusetts yet.
