This is a joke review:
Dracula: Dracula don't like this game. Dracula only here because there was donuts.

Statler: I know the one flaaw of this game.

Waldorf: What was it?

Statler: It was made!

Statler and Waldorf: DOH HO HO HO HO HO!
This is the real review:

Code: Select all

This was a great trial. Everyone was in-character, the difficulty was good (I never got to beat the game), and furthermore, even though there were no original sprites, the use of available sprites was both intelligent and resourceful. However, examining was not used to its full extent, and where to use what evidence was quite confusing. The storyline was decent, but it had many flaws. First, the prosecution isn't going to up and call the defense. That seemed farcical, in my opinion. Furthermore, like in JibJab's trial, Ema seemed to ready and willing to help the defense. There wasn't nearly the grumpiness level that we know and love Ema for.

My Grade for this game:

6/10

EDIT: I somehow voted twice in the poll...um, so I don't know if it moved the vote or not. If it didn't take one from JibJab, and hand it to Ishio. I was very hasty.

EDIT: Never mind. The computer finally loaded Ishio's trial perfectly, and it's better than it was when it was...partially loaded... I may or may not recant my vote.
You can't recant your vote. Nat didn't turn on that option. :P

Playing through Jibber's trial... (I depise playing them during the contest) In the first part, if you present the wrong piece of evidence after the hat to Ema, Apollo still presents the note even if you haven't got it. Oh well. I should've examined more before presenting.

@Geno:Force is right, I didn't turn on the thing to allow for re-votes. It's on now I think, so try again Geno, just to be sure.

@Dramatica: Huh, I guess I didn't notice that on my first run through for easy bugs since I picked up the note as soon as I saw it. *takes notes for herself*

Damn, another bug. Whatever.

PICK UP THE NOTE, PEOPLE!!!

And I used original sprites because I hate giving different personalities to the characters we know and love...

I Also hate using the game's locations, as we all know what to examine...

But my locations are crappy because I was forced to not spend weeks on them...

And I forgot that it was the Ivy university that Stickler attended...

Oh, and can we vote for ourselves?

Well, Ishio's trial was more... interesting than the other one, so my vote's for him.

*Steel Samurai Theme Plays* It's now a draw between Jibber and Ishio! Who will win: Turnabout Calculus by Jibber, which he took the time and effort to make OCs and Locations to create, or Ishio's Madness in a Box of Turnabouts, which is more interesting and realistic as a case!? Let's find out! *leaves*
