Colorwise I'd say you should desaturate the shading in the hair and darken the shading on the skin

Little update.
I could redraw it all from scratch, but yeah this took me ages to sketch to get it to this point XD Guess I can only get better from here!
(I might try what you did of drawing the body out and then the clothes on top)

Here's the larger version of the art I did for the current comp (slightly edited)

Initially I was gonna use the pun "Levy Tate", but didn't end up going that route with the character, because I didn't wanna copy Darth's OP idea.

Started on my OC comp entry for Court Record's comp:
It's a frankensprite (a style I normally don't do, but I do love just doing this pixel-by-pixel, it's theraputic XD)


What I've done so far (Put it in the profile box to neaten it up XD)
For reference, Young Tsukasa for the base, Adrian's mouth and the hair I did freehand.

EDIT: I'm bored and tired so I'll share some random stuff about myself. Normally I'll have a song on loop when I sprite as inspiration for the feeling I want to go for.
