A character from a game that was originally made in Japan, cosplaying a character from a Japanese comic book (who basically is a huge westaboo himself) and is still called a weeb? Poor Odoroki Apollo... :D But in all seriousness, great work!

One of those weird side effects of the localization process, like accidentally turning Simon into the biggest weeaboo that ever lived. Or making the first Asinine Attorney make zero sense.

I think it's safe to announce the voting phase. It will last two weeks, until March 15. You vote by posting up to two following icons representing each entry. Please do not, under any circumstances, double your votes! If you post your vote on CR, don't post it on AAO. All votes from both sites will be summed up at the end.

(I wouldn't technically be against the rules to use one of your votes on CR and the other one on AAO, but it would make my job harder, so please don't do this either.)

Good luck!

Speaking of weebishness, other than the Critical Role character, was every cosplay costume here from a Japanese-made franchise?

It was a hard decision. There were a lot of good entries!

Uhhh, when I try to post the icon I get an error message saying "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." Is that supposed to happen?

Right click the image and copy the image link, then paste the URL between

Code: Select all

[img][/img]
If that doesn’t work than maybe there’s a limit on how many times 1 image can be repeatedly posted?

Welcome to the site!

This is a minor point, but we prefer users edit their posts instead of making a new one right after the previous one.
