Dual Destinies Bar:

The Lancer grinned as his fist was caught, triangular points filling his mouth to the brim. The Servant was strong, he could feel it-- The force he struck back with equaled his own. Impressive. Servants certainly were a cut above the standard human. Only Gods and Legends were worthy of his time anyways.

"Well, the Gods work in mysterious ways," Lancer replied, "I've been itching for a fight anyways. Show me what you've got, Servant!"

With that, the Servant's leg swiped through his chair, breaking through it as if it were made of toothpicks-- Yet another property damage for the poor bartender. No matter who won here, it seemed that he would be the loser.

Lancer remained unfazed as the chair dropped beneath him, sticking his left arm into the ground to stop his fall. In the brief moments his arm held out to support him, he lashed out with two swift kicks at his opponent, before tumbling back and rolling across the bar, rising back to a standing position.

Double Down Bar

Saber attempts to block the first kick while moving back, but the kick breaks through and Saber, not having much space to move to begin with, gets caught on the tip of his chin. The pain was equivalent to that of a slight sting, considering a fight like this wouldn't really be doing any significant damage to either of them. Really, the only thing here taking major damage would be the bar. Saber almost felt sorry for the poor bartender.

Using the force of the kick to his chin, Saber falls back dodging the second kick and rolling back to a standing position, much like what his opponent did. He grins, rubbing the spot where he was hit. It didn't actually hurt that much, but he felt the need to acknowledge it. If all servant could kill each other in a simple fist fight, well, the war wouldn't be very exciting now would it?

"Hah, trust me. I know of the ways the gods work all too well." he replies and shakes his head. "Let's see how you handle this!" he then charges shoulder-first, ready to tackle down the enemy servant. But just before he makes contact, he feints and switches in for a powerful left hook toward the opponent's chest.

Double Down Bar:

Lancer's grin widened. It looks like his enemy was enjoying the fight as much as he was. Good. They really should be both whipping out their weapons and wrecking everything with a huge, dramatic battle... But for now, the Lancer savored the simple things; the rush of energy, the feel of bone striking bone, the simple elegance of beating the crap out of a lesser life form with your own two hands... a Demigod he might be, but Lancer still held enough pride as a warrior to enjoy the simpler things.

The Servant rushed in, going for a tackle. Lancer wasn't particularly worried-- He knew how to grapple, and he could throw down on even terms there. At the last second, however, the man switched for a left hook, hitting him square in the chest and throwing the Hawaiian man back into the table of an unfortunate drunk. The impact smashed through the table, but the Lancer seemed none the worse for wear; or at least better than most people would look when thrown into a table.

Lancer didn't seem to be getting back up. Was he up to something, or had the Servant just hit him that hard?

Double Down Bar

Saber felt the rush of blood in him, it's been far too long since he's been in a battle. And yet feeling the energy in him, it felt like only yesterday he had been in a war, the memories still fresh in his mind. He grinned widely, cracking his knuckles as he approached the fallen servant in the wreckage of what was once a table, broken pieces of it snapped as Saber stepped on them. The drunkard that was at the table had scurried away as he noticed the muscular man approaching.

"Hah!" he laughed shaking his head, "Come on, I know you're made of tougher stuff than that! You would be a pathetic excuse for a servant if you couldn't take something as simple as a punch." He looks down to his opponent from something like a meter away, not too close but not too far. "Stand up, it'd be an insult to my honor if this fight ended too quickly."

Saber seems wary of what the other servant was trying to pull.

Derble Dun Bar

"Not falling for it, eh? I didn't think so." The Lancer muttered, the grin returning to his face as he lay among the pile of shards. As the warrior didn't seem too intent on coming closer, Lancer simply swung himself back on his feet, shards of wood falling from his body as he did so. Then, casually turning his back on his foe, he took a deep breath, facing the wall behind him. It was as if he'd suddenly forgotten the fight at hand.

"Hmph. I'm going to have to start taking this seriously at some point." He murmured.

Then, suddenly, he raised both arms and grabbed hold of the large booth that had been surrounding the table. Flexing his superhuman muscles, the Lancer continued to grin madly as he proceeded to tear the large seat from the very ground, hoisting it over his head, and then proceed to hurl it at the enemy, throwing it like a javelin towards the muscular Servant.

"But not today!" He cried, giddy as a kid in a toy store.

Herber

Now at their second destination, Dante once again got off of his trusty servant. "You know the drill Assassin!" Assassin sighed and summoned another bear cub that then ran down and hid in to one of the boats. "With this place marked, its all smooth sailing from here.

Assassin cringed at his masters pun then noticed something. "Master, I sense the presence of a powerful mage, potentially another master, but I don't sense a servant."

"Oh hoh, better hide away your handsome body then. We might have just found some easy prey."

"Yessir." Assassin then returned into his spectral form and hid away.

Harbor:

Mikal wasn't sure what she'd been expecting when she walked into the Fuyuki City Harbor. The place seemed to be weirdly empty, which she didn't typically think was the norm. The sound of the sloshing sea all around and empty ships as they bounced in the waves. The blue-haired girl let out a sigh, as it was quickly evident that the angry Hawaiian man who was her Servant wasn't remotely anywhere in sight-- Unless he'd already taken a ship and left, though she had to question where exactly he would be planning to go.

"It's no use," She muttered, glancing around, "I still haven't even figured out how to approach him yet. He must be elsewhere..."

As she turned to leave, she was alarmed by the sudden sound of feet scurrying across the deck-- Mikal whirled around worriedly, slowly drawing the novella-disguised Grimoire from her jacket as she did so. Surely it was just the wind, or something. Surely it couldn't be... a bear?

What? B-bear? Just... Just a bear? That's... concerningly normal.

Mikal slowly glanced around, wondering who on earth had let a small bear cub roam freely around a large, probably dangerous harbor. Maybe Lancer had attacked a zoo.

The smart thing to do here would be to alert animal control, call the police, or even my parents. That would be the intelligent, proper thing to do, yes.

And yet... Bear. It compelled her to move. It compelled her to look. Because... a bear. In the docks. What even. Her higher brain processes could not function while the indomitable issue of the eternal question of WHY WAS THERE A BEAR?

Mikal sighed. She quickly opened her hand, channeling her energy to create a small, blue fireball in her palm. In case this was some kind of bear-monster-cub thing, she would be prepared.

Mikal goes to the boat to investigate the Mystery of the Bear.

Double Down Bar

The way he threw that booth, could it be...? thought Saber. His opponent's form was similar to the way an infantry unit threw a javelin. The large seat flew straight and true. Saber had little time to react as he had been too busy observing the movements of his enemy. Quickly, he takes a stool and snaps it in half, holding the stand similar to a sword and using the actual seat as a shield. He blocks, the large booth collides with him in whole and he slides against the floor, the soles of his shoes leaving skid marks burned into the ground. Before they hit the wall, he uses the metal stand and stabs with a powerful and precise thrust into the center of the booth, snapping it in half and scattering its remains throughout the area. When the dust clears, Saber's makeshift equipment lays broken on the floor.

"Hah... human creations were always so breakable. Not built to handle the sheer power of us servants... wouldn't you say so, Lancer?" says Saber, smirking. It was a bluff all based on a single display, but Saber's bluffs have gotten him far long ago. Of course, given what he had just done, he had a feeling his opponent had an idea to what he was as well.

Double Down Bar:

Lancer smirked; it seems they'd both stopped beating around the bush and revealed their true classes. Shame, there were still a few tables left to throw. But regardless, it seemed like it was about time they got to the real fight.

"Well, I hardly expect a chair to be the pinnacle of human creation, Saber." Lancer retorted, folding his arms smugly, "But it reflects its makers well; fragile, weak, and deserving only to be sat... on... by me."

The metaphor quickly fell apart at the end, but no matter. Lancer was still raring to go, his muscles burning from the action and hungry for more. He quickly hunkered down, lowering his center of gravity like a tiger (shark) about to pounce.

"...That was a good warm-up." Lancer muttered, smugness incarnate slapped across his face, "You seem like a formidable foe, I'll give you that. But do you want to know the difference between you and I? Allow me to show you..."

With that, Lancer's body began to change-- More specifically, his arms; A flash of energy ripples across his fingertips, suddenly coating his arms in what appears to be a dark gray coating, spreading across his forearms like a new layer of skin. Though it was impossible to see at this distance, this was in fact a layer of dermal denticles, or sharkskin, sprouting across his arms and covering them with a series of miniature, serrated teeth. The Lancer quickly swiped his arms through the air, the miniature teeth slicing the air as it went, the force of his strikes alone whipping the air in a dramatic but useless fashion. Lancer grinned, apparently very happy with his instant tattoo job, and raised both arms near his face, pointed at the enemy in a martial-arts-esque pose.

"...The true power of a demigod." He said proudly, holding his pose and waiting for the look of shock to spread across his opponent's face.

Saber raised his eyebrow at Lancer's sudden transformation. From afar, it merely looked as if he had changed the color of his skin. However, he knew better than to take it at face value. In a battle with a servant, nothing is simply as it is. Underestimating an enemy in combat can prove to be a fatal decision.

Saber did not let any signs of fear show in his eyes, instead, he let out a hearty laugh. "Ah, so you think a new pair of arms is enough to tip the scales to your favor? Very well, fellow demigod..." he says in an almost mocking tone, smiling as he does. "I shall see just what you can do with those arms of yours!"

He raise his left arm up into the air and a bright light shines around it, solidifying into a circular object, much like a large disk. When the light fades, you see that there is now a large Greek shield strapped to the arm of Saber. He holds it out in front of himself, whereyou see that it covers much of his torso. The actual shield itself seemed to be made of a brilliant bronze. One the face of the shield was a series of imagery that started from the center, from where you see the Earth, Sky, Sea, Sun, Moon, and various constellations. This is only what is seen in the very center, for there are even more images that encircle this, most of what seemed to be many different people in different states. Some happily celebrating and others marching to war, to name a couple.

"Let's see if you're strong enough to even make a dent on this shield, Lancer!" cries Saber as he charges, shield held outward as he makes for another tackle.

Harbor

Just as Dante was ready to leave the place with boats, he saw a girl head towards after where the bear was. "Well lookie here, it seems like we have an early bird trying to get the beard." Dante signaled Assassin to follow at a distance then he went over to the area the girl went to.

Now at the boat

Walking up behind the girl, he noticed she had a blue ball of fire in her hand. She was definetly a mage, but the real question was if she was a Master. Standing right behind her, he spoke up in a seductive voice. "Why hello there. What is a fine lady such as yourself doing down here? Boats can be dangerous places, and we wouldn't want you to get hurt."

Lancer grinned-- Oh, this was gonna be GOOD.

His fists curled, the placoid scales surrounding his skin, clattering together like chains in an invincible mail. Several times harder and stronger than the dermal denticles of any living shark, the armored scales would allow Lancer to take hits that his standard superhuman strength alone wouldn't handle-- Sure they probably wouldn't help much against any REAL magical weapons, but they'd sure as hell stop any puny human weapon.

Now, it was time to show this arrogant bastard and his fancy plate mail what a REAL warrior could do.

Lancer lunged, his bright hawaiian shirt becoming a yellow streak as he closed the gap between himself and Saber, before sending a flurry of punches into the enemy's shield, battering it with all the strength he could muster.

He felt like he should be shouting something right now, but he couldn't really think of anything in particular.

Saber clashes with Lancer, his grin only getting wider with each successive punch coming from the scaled opponent. So this was what a battle against another servant was like. Power and against power, the release of all tension. It had been thousands of years since his last battle and yet this all felt familiar to him, like he was reuniting with an old friend. Yet the days of old could not compare to this, truly Lancer was a worthy opponent.

"Hah! Your attacks are useless against this shield, Lancer!" Though he said that, the strength Saber felt from the other side of the shield was not surprising. His opponent was strong indeed, but it would take more than a few punches to deal any real damage. Yet while his shield suffered no effects, Saber knew he shouldn't stay behind it forever. With this much force, eventually even he would tire.

"Now I'd like to keep this up, but..." Saber said, bending his knees and changing the angle his shield was positioned at and pushing upwards, aiming to parry Lancer's punches and set him off balance. Saber then readied to deliver an uppercut straight into Lancer's gut.

The flurry of fists furiously firing fast at the enemy were powerful, but the shield wasn't budging-- As expected of a Servant's weapon. Well, it was expected, but kinda boring to just... keep wailing on it. I mean, it'd seemed like a really cool move at the time, but now it just kinda felt... dull. The shield was tougher than he expected-- and the scales on his fists, though strong, were far from invincible; it would only slow the wear on his fists, hardly prevent it.

Suddenly, the shield tilted, bouncing Lancer's fists away, breaking the rhythm of fists he'd been building; he was thrown off guard, but only for a second, his eye gleamed as he saw Saber, readying a fist for a strike. He sniffed the sweat off the enemy's body, the beating of his heart as he was readying the strike; ah, perfect.

Rearing back, Lancer quickly swung both arms back towards the shield, pressing it downwards with both arms, trying to crush Saber with his own shield.

The Harbor:

Mikal's brain acted fast-- Bears were hardly native to this area. Unless it had come from the sea-- Sea bears? But no, the fur wasn't wet. Were there any shipping crates from the zoo or...

Well, she'd neglected to consider what was probably, in hindsight, the most obvious answer, all things considered: magic. Where there was weird nonsense, there was usually magic. And where there was magic, there were... Mages.

"Why hello there."

Mikal jolted, quickly putting out the magical flame in her palm-- Oh god, this could NOT be good. She clutched the grimoire tighter as she slowly stood up, examining the strange fellow who'd just approached her. Now, Mikal was no detective, but looking over this guy, she was gonna take a wild guess and say he wasn't a sailor. And if he wasn't, what would he be doing down here? Following magic bears? Maybe she was getting paranoid, but it seemed safer to just presume everyone an enemy until proven otherwise-- She glanced down at her still-gloved hand, praying that there wasn't any of her mark showing.

"...Oh, I was just...!" Mikal said, hurriedly trying to think of a convincing lie. Wait... Why lie when the truth was so much dumber?

"...I saw this bear, and I was confused as hell, so I came down here." She answered as deadpan as possible. "Do you have any idea what's going on with this!? A bear! Out here! Can you believe it?!"

"Hah! Take thi - Hunh?" Were all Saber managed to say before Lancer brought both his arms down in a quick reflex during the moment Saber was open. There was little he could do to avoid the attack, the floor beneath him gave as he attempted to resist the sheer force that was slowly crushing him. His knees were bent, both his arms and legs shaking ever so slightly under the pressure. At this rate he was about to give. And while the attack would in no way be lethal, it would still probably hurt a lot.

"So you aren't just a reckless fighter. H-hah! I admit I didn't not foresee you reacting so quickly to my parry." he said, struggling. Saber continued to sink lower and lower into the floor; he was now knee deep into the ground. He needed to get Lancer off him.

Saber closed his eyes and thought of the winds back at his homeland, how they brought with it the tidings of a journey. He took a deep breath and with a forceful exhale, he called them to his aid. The windows of the bar burst open, letting in a strong torrent of wind centered around where Saber stood. He willed the air to go beneath him and bent his knees further down, going with the force of Lancer attack. Then, using the wind as a reinforcement, he pushed back on his shield and sent a blast of air along with it.
