Bet you weren't expecting this, huh? ...Or were you?
Until now, it's been child's play. It wasn't serious. The impending doom of the universe didn't appear to be a threat. But I've let it go on too long. It's too late now. I only have one chance to succeed. If I fail again, I know for certain it'll be the end of everything. The Summoners, The Guardians... I would be lying if I said I wasn't pained by their deaths. But if I don't gather new Warriors then not only they, but all of us, will be nothing but a sparkle in the sky. Failure is not an option. It's time to finish this once and for all...
Galaxy Warriors, it's up to you to complete what your fallen comrades started. Don't lose.
THE STORY
Spoiler : :
A full out war, on a planet far from here. Two survivors, threatening to spark another calamity on Earth. A monster that consumed Mars. Magical Battlers who sought masters to control them. All brought to their knees by the power of The King Star. The King Star, who created the invading bodies that destroy planets with a single breath. The King Star, who creates war and famine wherever he pleases. A being of absolute destruction and rage. The King Star has been given far too much time to continue his warpath through the universe, and now he seeks to end the only being capable of standing up to him: Alistair.
The shapeshifter himself, from unknown origins. That is Alistair. He is powerless by himself. A wanderer of space who has no home. But what Alistair does possess is the ability to bring forth the power of The Twelve Galaxies into the soul of a human being. To create great power within them that, when harnessed expertly, can threaten The King Star. Alistair has failed in stopping the disasters of universe before, but he now seeks to redeem himself with one final push against The King Star. So he seeks new Warriors; Galaxy Warriors that will possess his power. Maybe then, together, they can destroy The King Star and restore tranquility to the universe.
In the seaside city of Terrallarum, a bustling centre of industry and transport, there exists a group of young girls. They don't know it yet, but each one is a perfect catalyst for Alistair's powers. Whoever they are, and whatever their own purposes be, Alistair must now seek them out and obtain their strength before it is too late to stop The Star King. One of these girls is you: An average human who lives a normal life in Terrallarum. You are needed to fight, and to defend the future of everything. So accept Alistair's powers, and defeat the forces of destruction that try to take hold of this universe. Become a Galaxy Warrior, and create the most wonderful miracle in everlasting history.

BECOME A GALAXY WARRIOR
Spoiler : Who Are You? :
You are defender of the future. Some have popularised these Warriors in classic fiction as "Magical Girls". Cute young girls in frilly dresses who fight evil in the name of justice and love. And, surprisingly, that is what you are. Once Alistair has imbued upon you part of his power, you will be given your magical abilities, and a magical outfit to go with them. As a reward for joining the battle, you will be given an item. An item of your choosing, as long as it can physically exist. Whether it be a suitcase full of money or a strawberry shortcake, it will be yours.
Spoiler : What Can You Do? :
Warriors are given a weapon that fits them. A weapon that will grow as they do, and become more powerful as the Warrior themselves evolves. These weapons are not only that, they also give you access to Powers. Spells that can be cast to bestow devastation upon your foes, or valiantly assist your allies. But there's one more thing you can do, and that is fly. Warriors can safely exist in space itself, and that's where you'll fight. You will wage war against all kinds of monstrosity among the stars themselves!
THE TWELVE GALAXIES
Spoiler : What Are They? :
The Twelve Galaxies exist as sources of power, each representing a different alignment. On Earth, these Galaxies are instead known as the signs of the zodiac. From Aeries to Pisces, every human belongs underneath one. And whichever sign you were born under defines your powers as a Galaxy Warrior. Whether it be you are aligned to Unity, or to Power, your abilities are decided by your zodiac, and thus the Galaxy you belong to.
Spoiler : The Galaxies :
There are twelve galaxies (or Signs), split into four major categories (or Elements).
Spring Signs belong to the element of Earth.
Summer Signs belong to the element of Fire.
Autumn Signs belong to the element of Wind.
Winter Signs belong to the element of Water.
But each Sign also has its own alignment. This, along with your element, helps define your theme as a Warrior. You should take this into consideration when creating your design and abilities.
In order (Left to right), the Signs stand for the following:
Aries is symbolised by the Ram and stands for Nature.
Taurus is symbolised by the Bull and stands for Potential.
Gemini is symbolised by the Twins and stands for Unity.
Cancer is symbolised by the Crab and stands for Protection.
Leo is symbolised by the Lion and stands for Power.
Virgo is symbolised by the Maiden and stands for Love.
Libra is symbolised by the Scales and stands for Justice.
Scorpio is symbolised by the Scorpion and stands for Resolve.
Sagittarius is symbolised by the Centaur and stands for Balance.
Capricorn is symbolised by the Goat and stands for Courage.
Aquarius is symbolised by the Ocean and stands for Beauty.
Pisces is symbolised by the Two Fish and stands for Knowledge.

Spoiler : The City :
Terrallarum is a heavily populated coastal city. It stands tall and proud as an industrial behemoth of trade and manufacture. The city surrounds a grand bay where ships are constantly flooding in and out of, seeking to do trade and deliver all forms of commerce. The city has anything you would imagine a city having, from universities to small family restaurants. While pollution is a significant downside to living here, there's no doubt that this is where you'll find that classic city lifestyle that so many seek. With jobs aplenty, it looks as if Terrallarum will thrive for a long time to come. Connected to the city, the island of Rexellata offers a more rural way of living. Agriculture is a successful business there, and the island is mostly farmland combined with holiday resorts. The beaches of Rexellata are beautiful, and attract tourists from all round the world.
Spoiler : The Map :
GAMEPLAY
Spoiler : Overworld :
As you can see from the map above, this game revolves around the overworld of Terrallarum. Many things go in this city, and you have to interact with them if you want to grow as a Warrior. For example...
This is what the map may look like at one point during the game. This example shows off everything that could take your interest.
Quests are the standard objective for everyone. These will come up all the time, and have a waiting duration of either 6h, 24h or 48h. This time indicator will let players know how long they have to get their character into any given quest, by joining the map square it takes place in. Quests have difficulties marked by red stars () that will let you know how dangerous the quest will be. If you're weak, you may not want to try a high difficulty quest, or something very bad might happen...
Bosses are dangerous enemies that threaten the stability of the universe. They will never disappear from the map unless you defeat them! Like quests, their difficulty is marked by red stars (), but don't think that's where the problems end. Bosses have many tricks up their sleeve, and usually result in huge space battles between Warriors and foe. Fighting one alone is a very bad idea.
Rescue events are when a fellow Warrior has been defeated, but is just grasping on to stay alive. Warriors can then come to their aid, but might have to deal with whatever defeated the vulnerable Warrior. Do that, and the Warrior can make a full, safe, recovery.
Encounters are somewhat of a mystery. One thing's for sure, they don't endanger the lives of those who join them. But they can be anything from meeting a new character to discovering a new boss. Whatever the case, it's best to find out what's up with these.
Character heads indicate the position of an important NPC character. Like Alistair, for example. These characters won't start any events unless an Encounter is above them, but they can still be interacted with if a Warrior desires.
To interact with anything, or go anywhere, you simply need to announce where you're going in bold text.

Spoiler : Battles :
Battles are pretty common in this RP, as you may imagine. They will be handled in a regular RP format, but with constraints. Warriors will be limited to one offensive or defensive action between each enemy action. They can heal, attack, defend, use spells, whatever. But only one is allowed each turn. The enemy will then make their move, and things start again. But beware, if you wait too long you might miss your turns, and allow the enemy to get an advantage.
Spoiler : Warriors :
Warriors need to get stronger, so that they can eventually fight The King Star. As a way to gauge this, each Warrior has a respective Level. This level goes from 1-15, and determines your abilities and strength. The higher level a Warrior, the easier they can handle more difficult quests or bosses. Warriors gain EXP from completing tasks, which will help them advance to the next level.

RULES
Spoiler : Don't Be A Criminal, Now :
! No godmodding. Essentially, keep your character's ability reasonable. (Or as reasonable as things can get in a magical girl RP)
! No bunnying. Don't force other characters to do anything they wouldn't have to do. Of course, minor things are fine (like shaking hands), but no causing them to make any significant action.
! Don't spam. Try and make each post as significant as it can be. Posts can be short, that's fine, but don't get too frequent with them.
! OoC comments go in OoC spoiler tags!
! Apps have to be PMed to the GM, not made public.
! Additionally, don't post until the GM has confirmed your app.
! You can have a maximum of two characters to use.
! Original Characters only.
! Read the OP before you sign up.
! Also, have fun. Remember, death isn't where this RP ends.

DEATH
Spoiler : Death?! :
Dying is a big possibility in this RP. From tackling tough quests to fighting bosses, you can never be completely safe from harm. If you're unlucky, you might just fall in battle. But... death isn't the end. Not at all. In this RP, death is only the beginning. Since no players have died yet, what happens is currently a mystery, but I assure you it will be very interesting. In fact, death can sometimes be seen as a good thing, if you look at it the right way...
