I saw The Ladykillers the other night. Now it's my third favorite movie ever, after Schindler's List and The Prestige. It's HILARIOUS AND SOOOOO AWESOME!

My favorites, in no particular order:
Disney pre-2001
Shrek 1 and 2
Rush Hour series (WAR!)
Any Jackie Chan movie from the 70s-80s
Shanghai Noon/Knights
Sherlock Holmes
Schindler's List
The Pianist
Harry Potter up until Order of the Phoenix (I didn't like Half-Blood Prince for sucking up to Twilight  )
The Hangover
Pink Panther 1 and 2 (Steve Martin)

Finally...

Pan's Labyrinth

In no particular order:

Anything Pixar that isn't Cars or Cars 2
Most anything Disney until post-Treasure Planet (though Tangled was all right and I hear Winnie the Pooh was excellent)
Anything Christopher Nolan
Casino Royale
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
The first two Spider-Man films (3 was mediocre)

Um... there's more, but I really can't think of them at the moment. :P

Too lazy to think of some others right now.

Just saw Silence of the Lambs again.

Clearly, the sign of an excellent horror movie is that it feels difficult to just place it in the horror genre. You just feel like you're selling it short.

I might get poked fun for this but here goes, The Goonies. And why? I love adventure movies and it's a goodie too.
