How to do fast-scrolling text?

Post by SpiritofAce »

For example like Oldbag does in the games, where you can't read what she is saying as the game scrolls through it because she is talking so fast.
The treat is a lie.

Thanks - but how to make it automatically go onto the next line? Like with Oldbag you didn't have a chance to press 'next'

I'm assuming I have to set a wait time - but how long do I set it for?

Topic re-opened. We don't close help topics that have been answered, in case somebody has a follow-up question.

Also, please don't double post.

You can "Merge with next" and set the next frame's "Wait for" to 1.

I usually just set the frame's wait timer to "2" and don't even use a merged frame. It'll immediately go to the next line once the text is finished typing. (You can also add a pause at the end if you want the frame to wait a moment before going to the next one.)
