Hello everyone! I have a lot to show, so let's starting.
Image

Image
Because I have a lot of free time because some things (random example: covid-19), I have rearranged the full original soundtrack from Gyakuten Kenji 2 (except the track 43, I haven't found it in the in-game files). I did my best so I hope you will appreciate it.
Image
I have a few more evidences.
In order: Shoes, Blooded shoes, Gift, CD player, Camera, Valentine's chocolate, Doctor's mask, Drill, Dynamite, Bicycle helmet.

And after one year, I still haven't posted a full character finished free to use. I haven't finished it but here the design.
Image
The inspiration for the outfit is obvious but the face is my work. I have planned seven or eight poses.

Hey there. I was listening to your tracks in the op and some of them appear to be broken? For instance, Search Middle 2002 and Professor Layton Curious Village.
There may be more than I didn't test, though.

Just to let you know. Thanks for the music, though.

Hi! Sorry for not to share a lot of stuff. Sometimes I have ideas, but when I like them, I always end up using them for my projects. x)

I have a few backgrounds to share from Pokemon Sun & Moon. In fact, I have download some models from this game, and after some retexturing and new camera placement, I have make "Ace Attorney angle-of-view credible" decors from them. It was fun, so maybe I will make others backgrounds with models from other games.

Unfortunately, no new rearrangements because Kiwi6 is still dead.

The models in 3DS games are already quite good. The lower resolution and aliasing just give a rendering very far from the base work. :jake:
My work is essentially shading, camera positioning and model the ceiling.

Yes, that's an issue with the (3)DS games... Regardless, they look really nice!

Little update: the same background with a car and less proeminent edges.

Image

The car comes from Mario Kart : Double Dash. The original "numberplate" says POW but I have modified it. Next month, I will post more backgrounds. If I can, maybe I'll even post the .obj file so that those interested can modify the 3D backgrounds themselves. :chew: (but not for models from official games, because of copyrights)

And some new arrangements:

Ace Attorney - Maya Fey ~ Turnabout Sisters
Ace Attorney - Detention Center ~ Elegy of the Security Guards
Ace Attorney - Detective Gumshoe
Ace Attorney - Reminiscence ~ True Evening of Grief
Ace Attorney - Jake Marshall

I always love hearing remixes like this.
Gumshoe's theme in particular always makes me appreciate how cheerful and melancholic it is, simultaneously. I don't know how they pulled that off.

I think it's the choice of instruments. Nevertheless, I agree that these remixes are nice!

As for the background, the car feels a bit out of place for me. Its' texture clashes with the rest of the scene

This looks like a lot of themes! I need to have a listen soon.

How long do those rearrangements take, on average? It definitely depends on the length of the song and number of instruments, but how hard is it?

The length of the song hasn't really impact since it's basically the same instruments used throughout the music (unless the melody changes along the way, of course). I don't spend too much time because generally I try to use the same instruments.

I would say the length usually depends on two factors: the number of tracks (logically, the more tracks there are, the more instruments there are to replace) and the way the developers put it all into the roms.

For example: for Professor Layton 1, each instrument number does the same from one song to another. The instrument 65 is always the accordeon, whatever the music. So as soon as I saw the instrument number, I already knew which instrument was being played. Unfortunely, Capcom isn't generous as well. The instruments numbers changes from a song to another. For example, in AAI1, the instrument 1 of Pursuit Theme isn't the same as the instrument 1 of Investigation Opening theme, for exemple. There are some exceptions: Pursuit and Pursuit (Variation) have the same instruments set, Trick and Gimmicks and Trick and Baroque also share the same instruments set etc... I have to listen to each instrument independently each time. To compare, rearrange all musics from Professor Layton 1 took me 3 hours for 19 songs. Rearrange all musics from AAI2 took me 28 hours for 48 songs.

It could be worse... Pokemon, for example. In HeartGold / SoulSilver, the songs are mixed with ALL sound effects of the game (the 493 Pokemon cries included) so recovering files takes longer than rearranging music. xD

Holy--... I'd have a breakdown midway if I had to remake such a song.

That said, 3 hours for 19 songs is pretty fast! Though 28 hours for 48 songs sounds reasonable, too.

Hey, it's my bimonthly appearance.

Courtroom Hallway
I relied on the courtroom hallway as it is visible in Dual Destinies opening to make this. I take a painting from AA4 to decorate the wall and make it less empty.
