The Sonic the Hedgehog Discussion Thread!

I hope there's a Sonic Adventure 3. Here's what I think it should be like: It should be between SA1 & SA2, have the 3 HUB worlds from Sonic Adventure, Station Square should be in it's bad state from the battle with Chaos, and there could be repair droids on the Egg Carrier, there should be more HUB's. It can have the return of Fang the Sniper, his levels can be pursuit missions and hunting for the Chaos Emeralds. The parts where you fight other playable characters should be more like boss fights. And there should be a Twinkle Park level for everyone as it was my favourite stage in SA1.

I'm still trying to complete it. I swear Final Fortress is broken. It is the only Sonic stage in history that makes it possible to die within the first 3 seconds by moving your analogue stick slightly to the left.

Nobody ever makes mention of the fairly good GBA games. I liked all of them.

You think you're bad? I couldn't even complete that game with one team! With Team Rose, I only got up to the first casino level!

But really, it isn't all that hard. Which team are you playing as? I found it hardest as Team Dark, mainly due to all of the enormous robots you have to kill that just don't like to die.

Though the last part of the Team Sonic version was hard- you're grinding on like two rails and you have to avoid lasers a giant Eggman robot fires at you. It's tricky.

But the Team Rose and Chaotix levels were really easy. It's the boss that follows that is horribly difficult.

I get stuck on the rails with Team Sonic. I get killed by the fact that Sonic, after a tornado pole jump, always goes slightly to the left of the rail he is supposed to land on.

I leave the stick alone- I die.

I move the stick to the right- I die on the right side.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Ah, well, I'll give it another go tomorrow. But it's always the level sections that screw me over. I'm glad that the games like Shadow, Unleashed, and Colours have better grinding systems.

It's times like this that make me wonder how I survived Rail Canyon.

I just realised you can control the camera in Sonic Colours' title screen. Just move the analogue stick.

By the way, I'm also a huge Sonic fan, though I'm more of a new-generation Sonic fan, as I never played the original games.
I believe my first Sonic game was Sonic Battle, which was surprisingly good.

One of the best things about Sonic games is their music. Even if the game is bad, the music is always good, or at least it is in my opinion.

Yep! I was surprised, too, when it was announced last night. In a Spanish interview with the controversial producer, you could even hear that Green Hill Zone will have the original music when playing as Classic Sonic.
