I have a personal vendetta against the original (IMO it and Super Mario RPG are the most overrated games on the SNES, possibly most overrated games EVER, and LTTP bores me to death) but I don't know how I feel about the new one yet.

Meh. I think Ocarina of Time is more overrated. (Though I think A Link to the Past is quite overrated as well...)

I personally prefer Oracle of Seasons/Wind Waker as my fave 2D/3D Zeldas.

Ocarina of Time is actually a good game though. I don't feel the same about LttP.

I agree on Windwaker though. By far.

I don't like Zelda Games in which you have a time limit. Actually I hate it. You want to look around, but you can't, 'cause the time runs out. Ignoring that fact, it's a pretty good game with an interesting story.

But... The only one with a time limit is Majora's Mask? (And Phantom Hourglass, but I try and forget about... That.)

Yeah, and even in MM you could slow down time, and had infinite resets.

In PH, though...

I loved PH.
It was my first TLoZ-game, a friend borrowed it to me. In my opinion it's way better than ST. I'm currently playing (and let's writing) it and it's actually not THAT good. >_>

I've only beaten SS and got up to the Water Temple in OoT. Maybe I'll pick it up again over the summer.

In terms of navigation, I prefer the ship (nothing specific, just that I like ships more than trains).

Well, you SHOULD pick it up, then. :|
