You'd think that for someone who actually did additional screenplay material for the 1965 anime that he'd realize, but he didn't. :P

I quickly edited my post before BB posted, as I realized I forgot something in one of my sentences~ :XD:

Tokui is basically 上手(jouzu), but it's "less" arrogant. I could have used it though in my sentence, but I prefer to use "Tokui".

Can you translate: "Good things, come in time." in Japanese? (And I mean in phonetic, where someone who doesn't know the japanase characters can read it using english lettering instead)

EDIT: Epic Google Translate lulz: My mother is very kind and bright man.

Ouch, that's a hard one. I don't know the expression in Japanese, so I'd have to do a literal translation. I can get back to you if there is an actual expression for it in a couple of days, though...

This is how I'd translate it. I would break it into two. But, as any Japanese student can tell you, literal translations don't work 99% of the time. :P

Code: Select all

Japanese: 時間に間に合うように来る
Romaji: jikan ni maniau yō ni kuru
Translation: come in time

Japanese: 良いこと
Romaji: Yoikoto
Translation: good things

Together, it would be...
Japanese: 良いこと時間に間に合うように来る
Romaji: Yoikoto jikan ni maniau yō ni kuru
Bad Player: You totally copied that from your textbook, didn't you? :P

私は漢字が得意じゃないです。でも、いつも練習していますよ。
