It's okay. If all goes wrong, we can all douse holy water and burn the guy to smithereens.

Have you played FFX?

Yes, and I love the game. Take that Truf.

Yeah, Tidus is annoying and some cutscenes are kinda cheesy. But you know what? Screw it, it's pretty awesome apart from that.

Hey, BBblader, can I ask you a question?
How does one make a popular trial? I've tried in the past, but all mine seem to be as popular as dog excriment, I can't make a single good one, do you have any tips?

@ Mimi: Truth be told, I only got, like... 30% of the way. Thunder Plains. Loved what I played though.

@ ED:

Well, I've only played SSF4. I've played SF2, but only on a keyboard, and it just doesn't have the same amount of depth. So yeah. Super it is. Can't wait for AE.

I LOVE the Boondocks. Seen all of the first two seasons and about half of the third one. There's so much great material there: And even the songs they recorded just for gags (Sgt. Gutter) are great, so I totally respect the series for that too. I can't really pick a favorite episode right now, but if I had to pick, I really loved the Obama one. The Latarian Milton one is also epic if you know the source. And the one where Reverend Rollo Goodlove sues Mr. Petto for calling Riley a certain word.

Comedians? Hm.

1: George Carlin: Just respect the hell out of the guy. He made me laugh and he made me think. And he did it for so long: The man has loads of material. It sucks he's dead :(

2: Mitch Hedberg (IIRC he was American? It's 2:30 AM here, I am not being bothered to check) He was just an amazing performer: Apparently he had stage fright, but you'd never see that just by watching him, he really looked like he was enjoying himself up there. He went far too soon :(

3: Hm... Dave Chapelle. I haven't seen too much of him but I love what I have seen. The Sesame Street act was PRICELESS.

(You have no idea how badly I wanted to include Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles)

@ BP: MUSTARD! But Ketchup if you insist.

@ Shepard:

Alright, I'm back now and I've got the time to type out a proper response.

Every "good" trial has at least one, preferably all three of these elements: Good story, good characters, or good writing. Difficulty is always nice for intellectual stimulation: But it's just one thing. I can name you plenty of good cases on this site that are fairly easy. Perfect grammar and what-have you is good for presentation, but it needs a good basis. You can use the right hex colors and the pause tags at the right times and the wait timers 100% accurate, but at the end of the day, nobody is going to care if you don't succeed in at least one of the three vital elements of an entertaining story.

How do you write a good story? I'll tell you this right now: Expand your horizons. Don't just look at canon AA to figure out how to write a good trial. In fact, don't restrict yourself to AA fangames either. Look at all sorts of media, and inject elements that you enjoy from those types of media (Note: I'm not saying rip off, that's something completely different) and even things you DON'T like into your story (I'm living proof that this works) If you've got any sort of a creative spark, you should come up with something eventually after you've seen enough varying storylines. I can't make that spark appear for you, so if you still have nothing, you'll have to ask something else. Some people have it and some people don't. It's just how it is. This also helps with dialogue and characterizations, by the way. I actually think my writing style is more influenced by AA fangames and BlazBlue than canon AA: So outside sources CAN do wonders for you. So get out there, enjoy some media, and hopefully you'll come up with something interesting. That's the best advice I can offer you.

Who is your favorite FFX character? And if you heard the Japanese voices, dub or original? (Itachi and Ichigo voiced Auron and Tidus, you know. )

Fundo-what?

*googles*

As long as sumo wrestlers aren't wearing it, it's all good.
Favorite witness ever?
Does this include killers?

Luke Atmey if yes.

Tyrell Badd if no. He can be considered a witness, right?

If it has to be in the GS games and can't be a killer, I don't really have one.
Who is your favorite FFX character?
Wakka, actually. I just love the carefree spirit of the guy. Auron's awesome too though. And I haven't heard the Japanese voices.
