I've got a request that I hopefully think should be simple. I need an Apollo Vs. Payne sprite. I tried your guide but I'm an utter failure with these things...

Umm, there are two types of Payne sprite. Which one? The Mullet or the plain one?

ED, sadly, is currently banned Nahu.

You'll either have to wait or find someone else to do it.

Spoiler : :
Notice her bench pose here. We see her in the same state as in detention center during Rise from the Ashes. Cold, calm, collected, quite similar to Edgeworth.

I can't put my finger on it, but her face looks quite different here, something is off about it. At least in my opinion. Her expression should be more.... calm? I don't know.

@Sligneris's comment, I think the off thing with the face is the chin; its too long. Either shave it off a bit, or bring her mouth down. Her mouth is in a very pursed-looking way, so that makes her look a bit fierce, if not annoyed. No problem with the intense stare she's got going on, but to calm it, raise (and you can also pull them back a pixel) the eyebrows a hair or upturn them a notch.

I like to scratch sprite. Feel free to ask if you need anything :3
Not very experienced at backgrounds, action shots, nor evidence, but I'd love to try.

The only major problem are the lips aren't as protruded as shown in the concept.

Cut ED some slack, the expression of being calm can come in various states/poses (Franny/Manfred/Klavier wold be a good example of this), the expression works good enough

...Wat? Don't understand what that was about at all. Slingeris didn't even say anything.

@Aer, meh. See Phantom's reply.

@Puddin', I agree that it doesn't need changing at all. Just make the dialogue to fit the pose or vice versa.

It honestly annoyed me to read this because this isn't something I'm looking for while I'm busy writing the case she's in. It's a normal pose, not a special pose. I'm looking for someone to help or fix one pose I've been having trouble with and that's the desk slam.

Sorry if I sound rude, but I'm quite irritated at the moment.

I basically meant what Aer said. I just could find right words for it.

Then I'm going to have to disagree with Aer on everything except for the chin comment, which is the only real valid difference I notice in the artbook.

But the chin alone isn't what factors into the "calm" pose, it just makes her head look like as it should in the artwork. But if that's the case, the nose needs to be completely redone into the weird shape that the artbook shows.

The mouth isn't even an issue, it's simply the lips being drawn to a certain perspective...With the lips alone, it almost looks like she's attempting to frown.

With the eyebrows, they need to be more defined in general, it's like she got them waxed compared to the canon sprites xP, but it's good enough.

Remaking the entire sprite set again would be pretty detrimental to the progress of ED's case that he's been making with his series at this point...If you can demonstrate yall's critique visually it could help out a bunch more to see how you guys want to see Lana's head molded into :)
