The only real point is to add people you PM more often, as the friends list makes it more convenient to PM. Beyond that, if it has a purpose, it's lost to me.

I have nobody except possibly Whirlwind on my friends list. And Shadow. And GD. Basically, I have no friends. :awesome:

At the risk of sounding like a parrot, I rarely use the friends list feature. These members have been on the list for years and none but Ami, who was added in his pre-mod days, visit AAO anymore.

The only time I use the friends list feature on any website is if it's familial or if someone sends me a friend request. Sending friend requests is incredibly awkward for me because I consider few, if any, my "friends."
