Parrie has announced dreadful news that she is in a very traumatic life-threatening condition in hospital at the moment. Let's wish her our love and best wishes for her, and pray that she will recover.

On the off chance that anyone remembers me...
I'm afraid that I will most likely never return to AAO. I've been in the hospital for months, and I'll probably be in here for the rest of my life. Which may not be long, but no one's quite sure.
I just wanted to say that I am so, SO grateful to all of you and to AAO for being such a wonderful place.

I have stomach cancer. I had surgery to remove the tumours but it had already spread. My doctors are hopeful they can fix it all, but there's no knowing for sure.
I'm so sorry to drop this all on you, everyone. I'll try and stop by whenever I get access to a computer, like I am right now.

N-no! Not the cancer! Oh why do my predictions always have to be true? I was trying to think what would land her into a hospital for a few months, bam, cancer came to me. You're in my prayers Parrie.

You can get through this! I know how bad this situation is. I have a friend who used to have bad brain cancer, but she pulled through okay. You just have to keep your mind open to a good conclusion and smile in the darkest of moments, and things will be much better! We all love and care for you, Parrie, and you leaving this world...would probably be the most devastating thing to ever happen in AAO history! So please, for us, for you...just believe that the end of this will be happy! We'll all be praying for you, so please, get through this okay!

Ouch! .... Aww man, that has got to suck. No words can even help this situation... A malignant stomach cancer potentially stage III or IV (I do hope it's not Stage IV)

Man, all I can really say is that we hope that you become better.

I have no idea what to say. I know I should say something. I want to say something... but there are no words that could even come close to what I want to get across, and that pains me greatly. I never expected something like this...

All we can say, is... we love you, Parrie, and all of us are really hoping that you get better.
Don't give up hope. Please.
