I'm hoping from the bottom of my heart that you'll make it, and wish you courage as you fight through this. Remember that everyone here loves you =)

Re: Paradoxinparticles's Support Thread
As I said in my PM, I don't usually pray for anything. This will be one of the first times I have.
I don't believe in any religion. I'm not sure if I believe in a God. But I do believe in the human spirit. I believe that if enough people will something strong enough, it can happen. Maybe I'm foolish, but there are philosophers who would say the universe exists on this principle... But either way,
The most important thing will be to never give up hope. With that in mind, I think that if there's even a chance our prayers could matter, then it's worth it.
Don't give up, Parrie. Even if it's hopeless, keep fighting...

My apologies for not seeing this earlier, I can't believe I didn't notice it until now. I remember you, Paradox, you are a valued member here, and you've definitely made a memorable impact here. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Parrie. I feel so sad after reading your post. I don't know what I can say that won't sound insensitive, so I'll just say it bluntly. I'll pray for you to get better.
If it helps, my hockey coach had cancer three years ago. He received a last-ditch treatment that had a 97% chance of failure, and it worked. So keep on believing, and don't let anything keep you down. (Hopefully that didn't come across as insensitive )

I encourage everyone who visits this thread to check this contributive thread out, it's a large-scale effort which the WHOLE community should be involved in, IF we really are a family, then I know you'd want to do something for Parrie

Parrie...
I miss you. We all miss you. As late as I may be, I really wish you get better. No, I KNOW you will get better. And when you do, AAO is right here for you.

While we all do miss her and wish her to get better, that's overstating things a tad, isn't it? ^_^;;Commander Shepard wrote:There wouldn't be an AAO without you!

Re: Paradoxinparticles's Support Thread
Parrie was actually one of the first users I ever remembered when I first came to AAO.
I knew her by her username, and I didn't know what was going on with all the "Good luck, Parrie!"s until I saw a thread posted by Unas.
I was shocked.
Get well soon, Parrie!

Geez, it's too bad I didn't know her all too well.
Well, all I can say is, get better. Now, what I think we should do, is do one of those charity song sort of things, so if she comes back, she can listen and know how much we care about her.

Bumping this because it doesn't deserve to be so far down the page.
I hope her collab topic thing is completed soon.
