^This.
Out of curiosity, are there any good desserts that you know about? My sister occasionally likes to experiment with desserts, so I'd like to know if you have any suggestions of what to try.

Sure, you can share some recipes. I'll credit you.
About desserts... I'm not a dessert guy, but I have a few recipes I have in mine. Actually one. Would you like to know about my dessert?

Wow, it sounds great!
...
If only my mom weren't allergic to avocadoes. Why are coincidences so evil some times?
Thanks anyway, though, my sis and I can use this to experiment a bit! I'll let you know if anything good comes out of it.

That's too bad your mom is allergic to avocados. Good luck, though.
Oh and another note: If it taste like creamy milk more than avocado (but still taste like avocado), then you've done a good job mixing the ingredients just rignt.

I'm not much of a dessert man, myself. But I'm a huge cheese fanatic, and I love a big meal. What's the heartiest recipe you have?
The mussels sound good, but I don't think cooking seafood is a great idea for one of my first real attempts at learning to cook...

Re: E.D.'s Corner Kitchen
Heartiest recipe? I believe that's a beef and barley soup, but I don't have that recipe memorized or mastered. Even then, the recipe I use utilizes cuts of beef not typically seen in supermarkets unless you request it. And it involves pressure-cooking. (Somehow pressure cooking is hard... Even prospective Iron Chefs have a hard time pressure cooking.)
The Mussels-Two Ways is an intermediate recipe to do. It involves no frying. Just boiling and broiling. The prep process takes a long time but the cooking is VERY QUICK.

Re: E.D.'s Corner Kitchen (New: Chicken Nuggets/Popcorn Chic
After much more experimentation, I have tweaked the Avocados con Leche recipe.
Also, I've added a new recipe: Chicken Nuggets/Popcorn Chicken. It's a relatively simple recipe, but takes a bit of time to set-up the flavors. Enjoy cooking this new recipe!

Popcorn Chicken is so awesome. I'm not a very good cook, but having the recipe right there makes me want to try it out...
Gumpei is so awesome for being everything that I've always wished for. <3
