I believe it's expected to rise. And IIRC, I believe it's supposed to go up in the New England area in the U.S. (AKA north eastern).

Oh, it was you? All is forgiven. XD And actually, when it left PR it diminished speed, but only so slightly. It's expected to rise.

Thunderstorms generally don't produce thunderstorms. They produce strong winds and heavy rain, usually.

Hello Irene. Yep, Ryu it's hittin' me RIGHT NOW. The rain is hard, floods, thunder, insane lightning, and the news said it's here for three more days, and it gets worse

So I have to decide whether I should wait out the storm in NYC or drive back up to Simsbury CT and hold down at home.

The storm will hit NYC a lot harder, but if the power gets knocked out back at home we'll be in a lot of trouble for a few days.

I've just read in the news about how Obama has said that the storm is going to be historic and that you need to prepare. How exactly do you prepare for something like this? I hope you'll all be alright.
