What sort? Do you mean in terms of space?

All sorts, from the ability to use custom plugins to the ability to create child themes by using custom themes.

I know it's still a powerful piece of software no matter if it's WP-hosted or self-hosted, I'm curious to know what it can't do/how much one is restricted to fully customize teh blog...Since I'm actually to lazy to try it out myself

EDIT: Phantom, judging from what I've seen, it's pretty capable, and if there's something you seemingly can't do on the first try, well, there's always a workaround.
