Hi everyone and welcome to the Invisible Friend 2012 Edition! I'm sure most of you remember previous Invisible Friends, both 2010 and 2011 Aaaaw thank you person whose identity is currently unknown to me <3
Well, this is exactly the same, except that now we have more people who know about this and more users to sign up!For the ones who don't know yet what this is about, this is like Secret Santa or Kris Kringle. The invisible friend is a game to which people sign up, and when the sign-up deadline has passed, a random signed-up person is chosen for each user. They must make a present for that person. It can be an image, a text, a PowerPoint, a video... If you are willing to make a mini AAO case, PM me about it and follow my instructions
(Muahaha gotta love copy/pastes from the last IF) Try to see what are your Recipient's likes or dislikes and come up with something from it!Terminology: The one who receives the present is the Recipient (Or Rep), the sender is his Invisible Friend (or IF)
The funny thing is that your recipient doesn't know you're his IF.
As always I'm the one who organizes this event (So I'm not getting any presents ;_; but meh
)Steps & Deadlines (These cannot be stretched unless extreme circumstances)
- Signing Up: May 16th - June 16th
- IF names sending: June 17th - June 19th
- Present Sending: June 20th - October 2nd (Whole summer holidays.)
- Present Posting: October 3rd / October 8th
- You must not tell who is your invisible friend
- It is strictly forbidden to exchange invisible friends with other people
- Be sure you send me the gift. Otherwise your invisible friend won't have a gift.
If this happens without a good explanations you won't participate to the next invisible friend. - You must send me the gift between the established dates. Otherwise it won't be counted. Resend it in the gift sending period to be sure it is counted.
- You must give me the present. Do not show it to anyone else, including your invisible friend.
- Your present must be original. (You must have made it)
- Your present must fulfil a quality standard minimum. (It must not be made in paint in 10 minutes for example. Make something decent or put effort in it. You don't want to disappoint your recipient, right?)
- Your present must not be offensive to anyone.
- Your present can be composed of different elements. (More than 1 file/image)
- Do not reveal yourself until your recipient has seen your present. (It is better if he tries to guess you.)
