It starts today!

Still have this image saved to a flash drive. I forgot who made it, but I know it was someone on AAO. Still makes me giggle when I look at it.

Ah, the opening ceremony is seriously amazing. There's sure a lot of drum players....



OH MY GOD THAT TREE IS FLOATING....and people are coming out of it?! I want an explanation....please.
(Oh, and I was lucky enough to get tickets to the hockey. Although I have no idea what team matches i'm watching. Going this Sunday :D )

I don't think there'll be anything in future Olympics that will come as close to the sheer awesomeness of Her Majesty The Queen in that sketch with Daniel Craig's James Bond... The Mr. Bean version of Chariots of Fire was brilliant, though. Still... HM and Bond! :XD:
