You can say that Star Wars suck, but you must admit that the things stemmed from it are much, much worse.
SPOILERS FOR INHERITANCE (ERAGON, ELDEST, BRISINGR) AND STAR WARS
The part where the boy who is actually a decedent of a great warrior receives (unknowingly) his father's weapon from an old man who was also a great warrior. Then the old man dies. Then the boy means a rugged man. Then they rescue a princess.

For a second there, I thought I had incited an emotion in you.
CUT: You read Brisingr? How was it? How was the trilogy, actually? It's been a while.

Eragon was good, but I lost interest halfway through Eldest, and haven't read Brisingr. My Mom read the last book on tape, and I listened in a few times since I had read the two books all the way through. Some of the things that happened did not make me happy.
Fire? You named your sword Fire? That's boring!

I wrote a whole essay for English about how those books mirrored Star Wars... I got an A on it, too.EmaTheScienceSkye wrote:

For instance, the ending of Eldest? Was I the only one who thought, "Eragon! I am your brother!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
And how he finds out that one of the Jedi Riders had hidden from the Empire and became his teacher? Exactly like Yoda. And then how he saw a vision telling him his friends were in trouble... The list goes on and on.
He robbed from the rich, and he gave to the poor
Stood up to the man, and gave him what for
Our love for him now, ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton, the man they call Jayne

Dracula can't wait for the game to start. Dracula gonna separate everyone of the players now into two groups:
Ugly and Dummy.
I want the uglies to go to the left side of the room, and I want the dummies to go to the right side of the room.
