Re: List of guides

Then again, please state that so in the OP so both of us won't have to waste time on this, just because it's in this forum doesn't mean I have to put something related to the editor, see what I mean? You got to state the scope so people will only post in this scope :p

Where do you expect me to have a list of guides for misc. Guides?

What does "OP" stand for?

I don't mean to sound rude, but if a guide is not in this forum, then common sense should tell you that it cannot be linked to here. :)

Personally, I don't see a point in one. :)

OP means original poster or original post depending on the context.

Ah, I see. I usually call it the main post. :)

Actually, common sense tells me that this is the only STICKIED thread who's sole purpose is to post guides, so obviously, any guides should be linked here, UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE, get my drift? From the way the OP (official post/poster/or just the main post) sounds, it's like I'm allowed to post any guide I deem useful to the community, yet obviously, you won't put it on there.

I understand the whole "scope"/"It's in this forum, therefore you should already know what to post" thing, but until you actually change the main post to reflect this, I'm going to nag you about it :apollo:

Sheesh, at least have another thread, or separate the guides into categories for the editor, and other stuff not related to the editor, it's simple as that :?

It's unlikely that anyone else will make a guide for something unrelated to the AAO web apps. :) At the moment, yours is the only one. Unless someone else makes the same mistake that you did, I won't clarify it in the main post. :)

Has anyone made/can someone make a guide on how to make Psyche-locks work?! I can't seem to do it. I don't understand the panel AT ALL.

I can start to make a guide on that. Expect it in a week or two.

Oh snap, I was thinking about attempting to make guide for that, that would be pretty helpful.

Yeah, but you have to have actually used it. It can be very tricky, and the interface is very clunky, TBH.

Not to mention that the engine is plain not usable in practice since you can't show the locks outside of the breaking setup.

We needn't do that, because it is mentioned in the documentation. ;)

She stated somewhere else that she does not understand the documentation, and requests a user-friendly guide on it, much akin to my "Cross Examination Basics" guide.

I don't even know what the 'documentation' is!
