Re: [DINE] The Den of Deception
"Why don't we try this...?"
I tried to move the statue of Anubis. If it didn't budge, I tried to examine the area directly around him.
"The arbiter... It has to be him, but... I'm just not seeing what we can make of him yet..."

Re: [DINE] The Den of Deception
Nothing else appears to be in the coffin.
The suits of armor look like what you would expect for medieval armor. The armor for the archers seem a bit lighter, but still cover the entire body. In general, they look a bit plain. Looking through the eyes, it looks empty... There's no person or mannequin inside, at least.
The base of the statue fits with the pedestal, so it can't be moved (horizontally) as long as it's standing on the pedestal, but you can lift it up with no problem. It definitely has some heft to it, but there's no problems lifting it up.

Lift the Anubis statue and look around the new space visible.
...How did she know she needed to do that?

Re: [DINE] The Den of Deception
The axe and sword are both relatively simple. The axe is simply a shaft with an axehead attached, while the sword is a simple metal blade with a handle. They appear well-kept and visually appealing, but feeling them reveals that they are both quite dull.
It is a simple depression in the pedestal, about half an inch deep, the same thickness as the base of the statue. It is also the same shape as the base of the statue--a circle with a small notch sticking out.

Mizuki looks to see if anything else is liftable, and can be put in the pedestal instead.

Re: [DINE] The Den of Deception
You could probably get the weapons out of the hands of the suits of armor, but none of them look like they would fit in the indentation. Obviously the weapons and objects in the cases could be lifted, but the display cases are closed, and you don't see anything that's the same shape as the depression there either.
Re: [DINE] The Den of Deception
Haru looks at the back of the stag and doe heads. Do they look like they'd fit the shape of the indentation?

Mizuki examines the base of the statue in better detail.

"Alright, guys... I think I messed up. Like, I'm preeeetty sure this thing has something to do with the riddle, but..." I sighed. "Maybe we should look around the mansion instead? First see what's in every room and then move on to putting the pieces together?"
I said, not really doing anything more, given that I saw little more to do in the room.

Re: [DINE] The Den of Deception
The stag and the doe heads are head-shaped, and thus would probably not fit into the indentation—which, again, fits the base of the statue.
The base of the statue is a disc, except for one small point sticking out. It's about a centimeter thick, and the anubis is standing upon it.

Try to move the Anubis off the sticking out point to examine it in further detail.

The anubis is stuck firmly to the base; it's all one piece of stone.

Mizuki sighed.
Guess that was a colossal waste of time...
Though she was... well, still a bit hesitant to talk with them, she really had no ideas of where to go, so...
"Do you guys have any ideas where we should go next? Since... Well, this room turned out to be a bust..."

"Where it is that we haven't been before. Let's just map out downstairs and then move on upwards." I suggested, starting to head for the door, towards the room across the hall.
